Half Marathon
The Global Energy Half Marathon begins along the banks of the River Ness near the centre of Inverness, the Highland capital. It then follows the river, running beneath the dramatic outline of Inverness Castle. A warm welcome finally awaits all runners as they approach the finish line on entering the city’s Queen’s Park Stadium – achieved by over 2500 runners in 2011 and many others over the decades it has been staged. 5K Fun Run
If you want to run but are not sure where to start, then this event offers a nice entry level. It’s open to people of all ages and abilities including wheelchair entrants and children accompanied by adults. Read more here.
